All the rules that emerged during the coronavirus pandemics brought the topic of cryptocurrency to the center of financial discussion. Some people believe that it is an ideal solution that leads to the prevention of contagion. They claim money is the main source of infection because it goes through a lot of hands. Thus, the fewer people handle paper money, and more transactions are done online, the lower the risk of spreading infection. While some agree with the idea that it is safer to do all the possible financial transactions on the Internet, others have doubts about cryptocurrency. They think even though creators of blockchain claim that it is perfectly safe and secure, there is a lot of space for fraud.
One of those who is suspected to be a lead fraudster in this field is an Irish businessman and investor P.J King. He is most known for his plan to travel to space 8 years ago. King, who is the founder of the software company Clockworks International, made a plan with Sir Richard Branson to embark on a space adventure in Branson’s craft Virgin Galactic.
The plan failed, as the spacecraft didn’t manage to leave the Earth Orbit. Since then, King is exploring other fields and investing in different kinds of businesses. As of 2013, he developed a particular interest in cryptocurrencies and started several companies engaged in the business. Little is known about the actual activities of these companies, since they don’t have websites, nor physical offices, nor representatives. Therefore, we might conclude that these companies serve as a screen for different shady businesses.
